Scottish soccer player Leon Jones’ USA scholarship journey could yet lead to him playing competitively in Chinese colours.

The talented defender from Scotland is in the midst of a full, four-year scholarship at the University of Kentucky, and his performances for the men’s soccer team have received great reviews already.

Once a star with Heart of Midlothian in Edinburgh and captain of the Scotland under-16 team, Jones has now come to the notice of the China national team, who he qualifies to player for as the birthplace of his mother. A young man with a bright future – on and off the field.
